Upcycled Toothbrush Holder in 3 steps

1. Get 4 empty toothpaste packages;

2. Open on the side, clean and take off the top part;

3. Sew together using nylon fishing yarn (don't forget to tie the bottom together leaving space for the water to run through);

Ta-da!! You have a new Upcycled Toothbrush Holder!

   After a trip to Madrid with Rachel Pox, my beautiful and crazy friend, some maps and magazines left overs worked wonders when Upcycling this old unused diary into a new trendy travel diary.

 Collage is soo relaxing =) cleaning bits and pieces of paper after the work is done, is not!

How it all started!
I always had a way of turning old unwanted stuff into something else I thought useful, maybe because I was born in Mozambique and imagination always came in handy =)
I spent all my life doing some sort of crafts depending on mood or trend I had at the moment.

In 2010, Alfama gave me an old stool that I rescued from the garbage, since I had some left over paint from recycled shelfs I was painting for the newly moved in apartment... I came up with something I thought it was worth sharing!
And that's when Upcycle KraftWorks appeared. Initially with the intention of sharing and inspiring others to look at waste in a different way, soon evolved into something more... a sort of Upcycling store, where each item is handmade with love and care 4 the environment, specially designed for each one of you!
