Made in Lisbon, on may subway rides to work

I though it was a strange color mix, due to some leftover yarns but if suits really well with this carpet from the new house!

 I had to leave the sewing machine and all the Atelier boxes behind since they did not fit inside the Van!

Now I'm on the look out for a new sewing machine, all I have left to craft is crochet yarns and a sketchbook I bought.

Not doing multiple crafts at once is good, I'm really improving my technics on what i have to use =)

Köln by Bike

We took our bikes to Köln and cycled our way into the city. 

The most impressive view is definitely the Kölner Dom - Hohe Domkirche St. Peter und Maria

Bonn Weekend

 Hanging out at parks, doing sports, cycling, having fun and enjoying the outdoors;

 I think I can get used to this! =)

Farewell Dinner @ Quebra Costas

Germany here we go! Seems like Paris will have to wait.

Bonn is the next destination!

All my friends from work got together at Quebra Costas in Alfama and It was a blast!

Paris Honey Moon

After a few months on Skype, together at last! 
For our 3rd year anniversary, nothing like a Honeymoon in Paris!

Alfama's CleanUp

Soon we'll be leaving Alfama and this beautiful house. 

 

This is by far the most beautiful house ever! I wish we could take it just like it is and place it in Paris or Bonn, since for the time being we really don't know were the destination will be!

The objective is to take only what will fit in our Van. 

Now is the time to take away the old in order to give space for the new (probably upcycled)

Stuff to go:

Clothes and shoes - hers and his;

An infinity of creams and way too much bijouterie;

Climbing and Slackline Gear;

Cat;

Beloved kitchen pots and pans;

Oliva sewing machine and at least 5 boxes with craft/upcycle supplies;

Yoga Books and some other ones we cannot live without;

 

 

 ...

Oh god! All this won't fit the Van! 

Better get selective!

Crochet Mania

After a few autodidact lessons, help from youtube videos and random internet tutorials...

Here are some Crochet Projects:

Set of 2 Crochet Boxes, first test for me. I gave 2 just like that in yellow for my mum's B-Day!

 Set of Crochet Cup Bases for friends that looove whiskey.. only the good one, of course!

I don't remember how many sets of fingerless gloves I made! Pufff...

Made a bunch of roses, each with a pin on the back and I had all Christmas Presents done!

My Love is Going to Paris

It's the big day! My love is going to Paris! 

I made him a Saudade's Box, so he can open it when he misses me and be amused with the little things I've put together for him.  

Wrapping around an upcycled cassette case, a cleaning cloth with a "galo de Barcelos", a typical symbol of Portugal and a must have in any emigrant backpack! :D
     

Inside the box some photos: us, the cat and a picture of Alfama; 
A love letter; a Ganesh - the remover of Obstacles; some warm underware; nag-champa and one or to more things only he will know.

I will miss him but time will fly faster due to the enormous list of things I still have to do before it's my turn to move to France!
